Intuitive Manufacturing Systems partners with firm in Chile

Kirkland, Washington – May 10, 2004 – Intuitive Manufacturing Systems, a leading provider of enterprise resource planning solutions for small and mid-sized manufacturers, announced the signing of Conectando S.A to represent Intuitive in Chile.

This signing will add to the existing strength of Intuitive partnerships throughout Latin America, which includes partners in Brazil, Peru, Columbia, Ecuador, and multiple partners in Mexico.

Conectando S.A was established in 2002 with the purpose of bringing technology to the Chilean market in a way that will benefit to the market with the lowest burden. Conectando S.A focused on partnering with an ERP/CRM product that would allow the small to mid-size manufacturers of Chile achieve the benefits of this technology without the massive burdens, both in high cost and manpower requirements, that new systems often bring. Intuitive ERP was selected because of its ease of implementation and localization, and the intuitive nature of the product.

The Chilean market is expanding rapidly due to the high number of enterprises of this size and the free trade agreements that Chile has signed with countries such as the United States, European Union, Mexico, Canada and some Asian countries. With all these commercial trade opportunities, Chilean manufacturers will need to incorporate better practices in their business processes and support technologies to become more efficient and productive.
