Intuitive inks OEM agreement with Webplan

Intuitive Advanced Analytics Offering Gives Small and Mid-size Manufacturers a Competitive Advantage

Kirkland, Washington – June 21, 2004 – Intuitive Manufacturing Systems, a leading provider of enterprise resource planning software for small and medium-size manufacturers, announced today it has formed a strategic original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnership with Webplan, a provider of comprehensive software and services solutions for rapid response manufacturing which fills the gap between planning and execution.

The resulting new Intuitive Advanced Analytics module provides the critical solution manufacturers need to master the reality gap. By automating and expediting the decision-making process that occurs between planning and execution, Intuitive Advanced Analytics allows businesses to rapidly view changes in supply and demand, propose and share action alternatives and rank and score multiple "what-if" scenarios to make effective decisions in real time — eliminating the chaos and inefficiency inherent in the more manual "people, paper, tools" approach. This analysis simultaneously takes into account material and capacity constraints in all plants, and results in a feasible plan for execution.

Due to the unique relationship between Intuitive and Webplan, Intuitive Advanced Analytics supports a continuous flow of information in and across multiple sites providing comprehensive, real-time insight and visibility. In addition, the OEM relationship gives Intuitive the ability to deliver these phenomenal tools at a reasonable price and without a large implementation project. The module will be available in Intuitive ERP 7.1 later this year.
