Intuitive Empowers Customers at 2004 User Conference in Orlando
Synergy 04 delivers valuable training, expert consulting, and new
insights to Intuitive ERP users
Kirkland, Washington ? November 15, 2004 ?
Intuitive Manufacturing Systems, a leading provider of enterprise resource
planning software for small and medium-size manufacturers, convened in
Orlando, Florida on October 12, 2004 with customers and partners from
all over the world at ?Synergy 04,? the inaugural Intuitive ERP
Worldwide User Conference. Synergy 04, held during October 12-15, 2004
at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando?, set a high standard
for this benchmark event.
Sara Gillam, CEO of Intuitive, opened Synergy 04 with the
announcement of the release of Intuitive ERP 7.1, the latest version of
Intuitive?s enterprise software solution. Many of the training and
breakout sessions at Synergy 04 focused on the myriad of new features
and important new technology standards this release brings to the
Intuitive ERP customer base.
?Version 7.1 is the second Intuitive ERP release utilizing pure
Microsoft .NET technology,? said Gillam. ?The advanced functionality
enabled by this technology provides our customers with solutions found
nowhere else in the industry. At Synergy 04, our objective was to
provide our users with the resources they need to take advantage of the
new tools in Intuitive ERP to enhance their business performance and
competitive edge.?
Synergy 04 offered Intuitive ERP users over 50 sessions, including
valuable training, industry discussions, customer-driven panels, and
product workshops. Event attendees also received one-on-one personal
consulting from an Intuitive product expert during several ?Ask the
Expert? and computer lab sessions to address issues specific to their
own company.
Synergy 04 keynote speaker David Brousell, editor-in-chief of
Managing Automation magazine, addressed the unique business challenges
manufacturers currently face, and prescribed how, to prosper into the
future, manufacturers must adopt new business models, core competencies
and embrace technology in more aggressive and innovative ways.
Customer reactions to the content and structure of the event were
overwhelmingly positive. ?The conference exceeded my expectations. I
feel like the information gained will aid me in moving my company
forward with the Intuitive product. It was a pleasure meeting other
users and I am looking forward to the next conference,? said Tim Key, IT
Manager from Precision Industries and President of the Southeast
Intuitive ERP User Group.
In addition to the value-added content, Intuitive hosted a day and
evening full of activities at Universal Studios and Universal CityWalk.
A raffle of extravagant prizes?all products manufactured by Intuitive
customers?ended the conference on a high note.
?Synergy 04 succeeded in creating the ?synergy? we intended,? said
Chuck Gillam, president of Intuitive. ?We provided insight to our
customers, received insight back from them, and we all left Orlando
energized and focused. The feedback and input Intuitive received from
this event will have a major impact on the future of Intuitive ERP and
the continued success of our customers.?
