Planner's Workbench

The new .NET-enabled Planner's Workbench is the cornerstone of a whole new set of planning tools that allow the user to search for material and capacity problems, visualize the problems with a dynamic graphical interface, determine the impact of the problems and easily enact solutions. Planner's Workbench provides a planner all of the tools necessary to optimize their shop floor in one place, at one time.

This workbench includes tools to do the following, and much more:

• Graphically display the status of an item’s inventory, including safety stock and surplus, and all activity for that item with drill-down capabilities into those activities.
   
• Easily search for inventory problems within the parameters set by the user (inventory surpluses over x days, critical shortages, etc.) and drill down into actions to resolve those problems.
   
• Easily search for order problems within parameters set by the user (late raw material deliveries, pending late orders, etc.) and drill down into actions to resolve those problems.
